Jennifer Clarke is an arts administrator, grant making professional, and Executive Director.
Her vast experience includes executive leadership positions, and strategic planning and development consulting. As an Interim Executive Director, she effectively helps arts and cultural organization through leadership transitions.
In addition to managing numerous arts organizations, she has implemented several grant making programs and is a specialist in government and foundation grants for the arts.
In January 2021, Jennifer became the Executive Director of the National Flute Association, an organization that supports and inspires flute players nationally through an annual convention, ongoing programs, repertoire resources, commissions, scholarships and more: www.nfaonline.org.
In 2020, Jennifer provided interim leadership at the American Friends of Attingham, working with museum curators, historians and museum directors to facilitate the rigorous study of historic houses and their contents in the U.K.
Prior to her recent Interim position, Jennifer was Executive Director of ACMP - Associated Chamber Music Players (November 2016 - July 2020), an organization that creates opportunities for musicians at all levels and ages across the globe to play chamber music together through programs, grant making, and education. During her tenure, she steered the organization through a strategic planning process, expanded grant making programs, introduced new interactive programs that have vastly increased participation among players, and developed and implemented an integrated communications plan. She has also steered the organization's financial management and budget process and overseen the maintenance of a significant endowment fund.
Jennifer has worked extensively in classical music, arts education, theater, dance and the visual arts.

Jennifer is the founding Executive Director of nonprofit music organization, Melodia Women's Choir NYC, from start-up through sustainability. The group commissions composers to create new works, and explores, performs, and promotes rarely heard music for women's voices. Conducted by Cynthia Powell, Melodia performs classical and contemporary music for broad audiences in different NYC venues.
