EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP
The National Flute Association, Executive Director (January 2021 to present), providing leadership in the provision of programs and initiatives supporting flute players nationally, including presenting an annual convention, ongoing programs, new music commissions, scholarships for developing players, and more. Jennifer works alongside members of the board and committees from the flute community to build a diverse, accessible and innovative organization for the future.
Associated Chamber Music Players (ACMP), Executive Director (November 2016 - July 2020), creating opportunities for musicians at all levels and ages across the globe to play chamber music together through programs, grant making, and education. Priorities included expanding grant making programs and leading the organization through a strategic planning process, introducing new interactive programs to increase participation, and developing and implementing an integrated communications campaign. She has also steered the organization's financial management and budget process and maintained a significant endowment fund.
NYC Arts in Education Roundtable, Managing Director, supporting the many New York City arts organizations and individuals providing arts in education services to New York City schools, including organizing monthly workshops and the annual Face to Face conference, leading advocacy efforts, and creating an online community of arts education practitioners. 2013-2016.
Melodia Women’s Choir of NYC, Founder & Executive Director, established and manages nationally recognized, award-winning women’s choral organization, including: producing concerts, commissioning composers, marketing, development, financial management, and operations, 2003-present.
Interim Executive Director: Completed the Support Center's Interim Executive Director training in November 2013.
American Friends of Attingham, Interim Leadership, (2020), working with museum curators, historians and museum directors to facilitate the rigorous study of historic houses and their contents in the UK. Accomplishments included transitioning programs to online platforms, facilitating the annual appeal and an online fundraising event, and financial management.
